Dinner

Dinner is held at 86 Park Lane, part of Grosvenor House Hotel. 

The evening starts with a Champagne Reception held in the Albermarle Room with wonderful views of Hyde Park. Guests are then piped to their private dining rooms and served with a delicious three course dinner followed by coffee, before making their way to the Great Room for the ball.

The menu this year will be:

Starter - Warm goats cheese, caramelised onion and oven-dried tomato tart, baby greens, balsamic syrup

Main Course - Mustard crusted breast of guinea fowl, carrot and goldne potato dauphinoise, sugar snap peas, herb & lemon beurre blanc

Vegetarian Main Course - Sun-dried tomato risotto, globe artichoke and asparagus vierge

Pudding - Lemon tart with fresh raspberries

Please book early as space and numbers are limited and notify the Ball Secretary of any special dietary requirements at least a week before the Ball.

Each party will be allocated one of the elegant private dining rooms. Generally large parties will have a room to themselves but smaller parties may share a room with another party.

Caledonian Club

For those who would prefer to dine elsewhere, we have made a special arrangement with The Caledonian Club on Halkin Street. They are offering a three course dinner with champagne and wine for £52 a head. Please download details and a booking form here.

The menu is:

Starter - Chilled melon soup

Main Course - Breast of corn-fed chicken, served on a a bed of roasted new potatoes, artichokes, mushrooms, black-pudding and bacon with a creamy whisky sauce

Pudding - Raspberry Charlotte with clotted cream
