The Skye and Lochalsh Young Carers Project is currently supporting 55 young carers in the area. Our donation helped provide respite care leading up to Christmas, a particularly difficult time for these young people. They are all taking care of someone who is chronically ill, has a disability, is experiencing mental ill health or is affected by alcohol or substance abuse.
