We are a grant-giving trust working with small charities across Scotland. The constitution of the Trust states that its charitable gifts must go towards the support of Scottish people, with a bias towards military causes. We support people in the following areas: the elderly, children, those with disabilities, the injured and the homeless.
Grants usually range between £500 and £5000. We aim to give where it will make the most difference and pride ourselves on having an open application system through which any charity can request our support. Submissions are reviewed with care before the beneficiaries are picked by the Executive Committee. You can read more about the application process here.
"Your donation makes such a difference to the lives of the young people our volunteer befrienders support." - Dumfries & Galloways Befriending Project
We are extremely grateful for the continued support from the Royal Caledonian Charities Trust during such a challenging year. Jake is a valued member of the RDA Glasgow Group family and he is willing to take on any task set, even dunking for apples! Thank you so much for sponsoring our much-loved pony.

Without your continued support we would not have been able to set up our food hampers and financially would be in an even more difficult situation than we already are. The young carers want to ensure that you know they are genuinely grateful for all the support you give and they cannot express the difference it makes to them knowing that people want to help them.
