Who is eligible
The constitution of the The Royal Caledonian Charities Trust states that its charitable gifts must go towards the support of Scottish people, with a bias towards military causes. Please read through the guidance below if you think your organisation might be eligible for one of our grants.

Are you either
-
A charity registered with Charity Commission for England & Wales or the Office of the Scottish Charity Regular (OSCR), OR
-
An organisation that can demonstrate a clear charitable track record and purposes?

Are you based in
-
Scotland (any part thereof), OR
-
Another part of the UK, but with the clear purpose of supporting Scottish people within that area?

Does your organisation support people in one or more of the following areas
-
The elderly,
-
Children and young people (ages 0-18),
-
People living with disabilities,
-
People living with injuries or illness,
-
The homeless, OR
-
The military?

Please note your application would benefit from the following:
-
An ability to share formal accounts (preferably audited)
-
An annual income of £750,000 or less
-
A reference or letter of support from someone known to the Trust (e.g. one of our Patronesses)​
